Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and what choices you have. Wedding Pulse is designed to collect only the personal data needed to run the service.
1. Data we collect
We collect account data, such as your email address, for couples and staff; wedding data you enter, such as event details, guests, seating and menu; data guests choose to provide when joining a wedding, such as nickname, table, photos and feedback; and technical data, such as IP address and browser or device information, when needed for security and abuse prevention.
2. Cookies & local storage
We use only necessary and functional storage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, so a cookie consent banner is not required. Necessary storage keeps you signed in, gives guests and staff access to the right wedding, supports partner edit verification, and helps protect forms from abuse. Functional storage remembers choices such as language, dismissed prompts and completed product tours. None of this tracks you across other websites.
3. Analytics & logs
We use an analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track users across other websites. It helps us understand visits and basic events, such as submitted inquiries, without storing personal identifiers. We also keep short-lived server logs, including IP addresses that may be shortened or anonymized, to count listing views, prevent abuse and protect admin and partner access. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in keeping Wedding Pulse secure and reliable.
4. AI features
Some AI features use a third-party AI provider to generate draft text, such as a suggested reply to an inquiry or a draft profile. We send only the content needed for the selected action. That content is processed to generate the requested result and is not used to train the provider's models.
5. Service providers
We never sell your data. We use trusted service providers to help us operate Wedding Pulse, including hosting, data storage, security, email delivery, payment processing, analytics and AI features. These providers process personal data only where necessary to provide the service on our behalf and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Public venue and vendor ratings are shared only in anonymized, aggregated form.
6. Your rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Couples can update certain wedding details from their dashboard. For full data export or account deletion, contact us through the contact form.
7. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active or while it is needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, the related data is removed. Security and abuse-prevention logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
